Our aim is to be involved and engaged citizens of the community. We do this by creating social and cultural events celebrating our heritage and by supporting one another in business and in other social areas. We desire to love where we live and want to be the change we want to see in Hipponation.
Affirming that our voices matter, we ensure the history of our community is also inclusive of achievements from Black citizens. We use events and volunteerism to polish the narratives of our journeys and histories from local and national perspectives. We celebrate notable pioneers, such as Adam Orgain, who was the first settler in Hutto and was a former enslaved Black man.
Juneteenth 2025 is almost here! Join us. Volunteer, become a sponsor, or become a vendor.
We will have horse rides, line dancing, great food, and live music. There will be plenty of activities for the kids and a spades and dominoes table for the adults.
